February 12, 2016 marks the inaugural port call at Stewart World Port’s new breakbulk terminal. AAL Newcastle was the first to land at SWP. SWP President & CEO, Ted Pickell commented that “The seamless berthing and cargo discharge was a success in every regard and a milestone for our new facility. We couldn’t be more pleased.” With strong relationships being forged between SWP, industry leaders, local community members, and First Nations, Ted and his team anticipate a successful future.
