LNG is ramping up in British Columbia with in service dates projected as early as 2018. Stewart World Port is strategically preparing itself to be able to handle the incoming pipe and cargo required for these projects.

Stewart World Port has now extended the existing causeway to deep water.  Phase I construction is scheduled to be complete in Fall 2013.

Construction of the port is split into two phases, the first phase of construction is currently underway, with construction by Arctic Const. Ltd.
